Best 22 in 02?

Im just really doing this to maybe give us a talking point as the WC board has slowed to a halt...so who do you think will be in our best 22 next year?

Our best 22 mmm......depends on drafts, delistings etc I guess.

Geez VOR, thats quite a statement there!! There is no guarantee that he will be in .... That was a HUGE STATEMENT

Consistency.... thats what he needs to stay in the 22. He usually plays a good game for 3-4 goals and then stays a fortnight without touching the ball

Just an unbiased view, that squad is horrible, if that's the best you can put out on the field you're gonig to struggle for a while.

Yes Gaspar at CHB, how else will he learn to play there if he doesn't get experience there.
Buszan - Dean Buszan, on our Rookie List, kicked the 2nd most goals in the WAFL this season, over 50 goals, and THAT was with bad kicking, so if we help him with that he will be a good FF, one of the best overhead and pack marks you'll see for a guy of his age.
Seirakowski/McDougall/Wilson CHF for mine, or maybe even Polak if we get him!

Could Buzz play at CHF? If he can take a strong mark it will give the eagles something to kick to at half forward, and his bad kicking will not be wasted as all he would have to do is pump the ball to FF where Wilson, Gardiner or some other tall could grab it.

Also, whats going on with McDougall? Any chance of him debuting next year? Will anything come off him or will he be just another wasted draft pick?

Frodes, huge call on Matera...i would much rather him running off half back than Prior. Matera was in our best 5 or 6 players last year and now you cant find a place for him?? No Braun either, he looked alright in the couple of comeback games he had at the end of the year and we all know how good he can be.

In all honesty I was tempted to take Milli, Banners and Prior out too!!! If we are in a rebuilding stage then we just have to give the younger players experience at AFL level. That means Hunter, McDougal, Humm, Munro, Chambers, Green etc all playing a lot of games. Many are 21/22 now. There is no point in keeping players of that age group paying in the WAFL. If they are going to make it as championship players in two or three years time then they need the opportunities to get experience this year.

Buz can play CHF well. When BB is playing at East Perth her plays FF and Buz plays CHF well. Another is Hunter who plays CHF well with Scotty at FF for Swannies
