Solid core moving forward but I'd be playing Ford and Scott in the side ahead of Ziebell and Turner in a heartbeat if we want to be in the thick of it in a couple of years. I'd be putting serious gametime into Spicer and Lazzaro also.

Corr, Tarrant, Perez, McDonald, Powell, Comben, Jed, Phillips the ones who need a big big summer. If we get these guys fit it'll round out a nice top 26.

Guys like Scott, Bonar, Atu have a fight on their hands.

Not looking good for Polec according to everyone so far.Not even a EMG.

And the wings look terrible because of it. If he is fit and ready to play like 2019, he has one of the easier positions to sew up.

Backline does look underwhelming in the small defender positions. Jack and Turner worry me a lot. But, need some players to take their spots, as long as they are allowed to

here's a serious attempt, not going to name any future draftees or trade targets until we've actually got them. here's a best 22 of the list as it stands, assuming they can all get a full pre-season:

B: Corr - McKay - Ziebell
HB: Hall - Tarrant - McDonald
C: Powell - Cunnington - Thomas
HF: Stevenson - Comben - Taylor
F: Mahony - Larkey - Zurhaar
R: Goldstein - Davies-Uniacke - Simpkin
I: Xerri - Phillips - Ford - Turner

I'm bullish on Flynn Perez but he'd probably get a run in the VFL before coming straight in. Bailey Scott and Charlie Lazzaro I also have high hopes for, just couldn't find room for them. Not sure what to do with Jed.

Outside of maybe Geelong, that backline would be run into the ground. Shows how important it is for us to invest in the med sized defenders at the draft.

Looking at the teams here we definitely need an extra KPP , especially a forward. I like what Comben did in his first game but I am concerned about his reliability to get on the field consistently.

FOLL: Goldstein, Cunnington, Simpkin (vc)

Not bad pretty similar to my team other than Phillips in for Mahony and Bonar in for Ford

The latter fair enough

First crack -
FB: A Hall - R Tarrant - A Corr
CHB: J Ziebell - B McKay - F Perez
C: T Powell - B Cunnington - J Stephenson
CHF: E Ford - C Comben - T Thomas
FF: J Mahoney - N Larkey - C Zurhaar

Next in line: A Boner, Atu, C Taylor, C Lazzaro, P Spicer, T Xerri.

Actually a pretty nice squad of 30 prior to any players coming in.

I have excluded Dumont, Atley and Polec who i assume will not be at NM next year.
