People are dreaming if we think Ryder at 32 is going to play too many games , he will be a handy backup if needed and no doubt he will play in the seniors with Marshall at times but I would doubt he would be in the 22 every week.
Why? There's no special AFL age rule that says you can't play after you turn 32. Mumford played 20 games this year coming off retirement.

If fit he and Marshall will both be named in the first game against the Kanga's. If that works then they will play together the following week all the way through to the finals.

Surely we don't move Marshall out the ruck...
Webster gets a game ahead of Coff or Paton no question. I doubt Dunstan spends too much time at sandy either.

Idiot , if your going to try and big note , make sure you get it right

If it ain't broke dont fix it....why move Battle from defence?

Sure we have an issue with that CHF lead up role now that Bruce is gone. Id stick with King, Members Marshall and Ryder to start with and see how it goes. Marshall and Ryder take away a KDP allowing Members the 3rd string defender.

Battle was probably our most reassuring reliable defender alongside Wilkie last season. Ironic given they both played down back for us first time. He gives you that sense of control. Reminds me of Robbie Tarrant
All these people saying Battle should play in defence cos he was good at it last year need to open their minds a bit and see the possibilities, rather than what they've already seen.

Gehrig and Kosi both had good seasons as backmen too, glad we didn't leave them there!

The guy is a dead eye Dick, he'll make us struggle to remember Josh Bruce in a few years.
