It got to the point where Solomon was a liability. No choice but to let him go.
He has flown under the radar because nobody expects him to get a game, all things going reasonably well.

I'm interested to know if you're including me in the two (which on a quick glance back through the thread it seems you probably do) and why you'd judge my contribution simply malignment? If I've read it wrong then don't worry about it.
To be honest I didn't really take notice on who it was as I mearly indicating a 10 to 1 ratio. I just want to bag Bolton

maybe i don't contribute as much as some people but when i do contribute to an essendon forum (bomberblitz,bombertalk etc) i say something worth while saying

Fletcher and McPhee could alternate positions depending on who we're playing. IMO both would make good running backs, but I like the idea of Fletcher on the flank due to his raking right boot. He can kick it 70mts and hit someone on the chest.

Not bad, but Nash ahead of Dyson for me.
Welsh on the wing, Nash on the other wing. McVeigh to the back pocket and Bradley to the bench.
Having watched a couple of intraclub games and the Darwin match, it's evident McVeigh is set for another season in the back pocket. I'd like to see him play more attacking, but doesn't look like it will happen.
I think Kep will play on the wing this season, but I think it will be off the bench. I reckon they will look to use Kep to exploit matchups, which will mean he'll rotate off the wing and half-forward.
Not sure Davey will be in our side come round 1, I think he will force his way in by the end of the season. We could see Slattery in the back pocket and Mark Johnson playing up forward a bit more often.

I'll be honest, I completely forgot McVeigh. Hence he's on the bench. I think he will start in a back pocket, MJ starting on the bench wouldn't be overly surprising.
Bradley has looked very good on the wing both last year and in intraclub games this year, although I don't like the idea of him drifting forward. IMO with Johns, Lloyd and Lucas all there, Bradley could make it too crowded and top heavy.

Yep, the idea of Kep on the wing excites me. He can push back and forward.
There is no doubt that if we have a match-up we can exploit that Kep will push forward and even someone like Lloyd will play higher up the ground and outside of the forward 50.
I think though, in order to get the right match-up, we may well see Kep coming off the bench a lot. Because as potentially damaging as this matchup could be for us, it could also hurt us if the matchup isn't the right one.
