Hi all.

I am avid AFL punter, who likes to dabble in NBA and other sports on occasion. I don't do horse racing.

I do most of my betting on SB. I also have a TAB account (but it's banned from multis and I can't place large stakes).

What other bookies would offer:

1) The best odds for long shots (and allow more than a couple of bucks' stake)

2) Offer the most/best promos like bet returns and bet boosts

I'll probably do most of my betting on SB. But if there are crazy odds on say PB/B365/other, I'd like to be able to participate (degen odds are the only things in life that give me FOMO).

I don't want to end up with 10 accounts and cover all bases, but which 1-2 other bookies would give me opportunities I couldn't get on SB/TAB?

Thanks

Signed up on Pointsbet recently and they have some insane odds on the goal scorers at times. With daily bet boosts and "paybacks" for most games. If I recall there was a 50% matched sign up bonus too.

It did restrict me from putting like $25 on SGM multi at odds of 2000, I haven't bothered to read their TOS for max payouts. Seems like a decent book to have in the degen portfolio.

I have a bet365 account as well, they do have some great odds on goal scorers especially early in the week and like a multiplier boost on every h2h/line market multi. The interface/gui on browser and mobile is horrific and always logs me out and clears the bet slip. You may get a $10 bonus now and then but not much in the way of bet returns.

Ladbrokes I've had for years, decent odds on somethings especially the "either side under x" markets. The usual 3 leg SGM multi returns, and a daily boost.

Best odds for long shots like h2h underdogs generally is backing on betfair. No degen multis though, just straight bets and no bonuses/promos etc.

Depending on your tolerance for having your info out there, nearly all books offer deposit matches as a sign up.

I have accounts with SB, B365, TAB, PB, Neds, Ladbrokes, Surge, Noisy, Bet right, Crossbet, Betr, Boombet, RealBookie, Topsport, the WA TAB one (Tabtouch?) and probably more.

Most of them are quite shit - between SB, B365, TAB, PB, Lads & Topsport you should be able to find the best odds & all markets. I certainly don’t use anything outside those 6 unless a promo is emailed. BUT you can guarantee yourself a nice bit of pocket money by reading T&C’s carefully and having deposit matches in bonus bets given and you can either play it safe by playing bonuses against each other or play it safe on your deposit and go a bit harder on the bonuses.

If you don’t want spam etc just make sure you check the unsubscribe boxes to promo material.

never had a problem with Ladbrokes had a few wins with them I tend to take best price and try and spread my bets with a few different joints haven't ran into any problems with the betcloud, betmakers, winning punter so am a bit worried about Lads/Neds

You should have an account with all the big bookies: SB, TAB, 365, Neds, PB, BlueBet, Unibet, Bet Right, Play Up, Top Sport & of course Betfair.

Should always be taking the best odds, no excuses.

Hard enough to get an edge betting to be short changing yourself.

For AFL I'd say PB have really lifted their game. I believe if they want to be the number 1 bookie in Australia they have to target AFL and have done this by offering great odds for multis with fantasy and goal scoring.

Top 4 for me are.

PB
b365
TAB
SB (promo banned otherwise would be 2nd)

I have a account with every bookie in Australia no lie I reckon maybe a few on course bookmakers who website are trash, Im pretty sharp and understand how Important the best price is and can be wondering long time it might be advantage point say $2.60 at Ladbrokes but $2.50 and another joint eg Betmakers, Betcloud joints might be best to use them and get canned there rather than a big cooperate

OK, gonna open up Pointsbet, b365, topsport and see how I go from there.

Sign up / deposit bonuses have been banned in Aus, I think?

Also signed up to BetSniper.com.au, which should help comparing odds across platforms.
