Prediction Best and Fairest, 2021

Saw that the Dogs had theirs tonight. Does anyone know when ours is?

Anyway, I thought it could be a bit of harmless fun to predict top 10s and other awards. For the record the best youngplayer award doesn’t have an eligibility criterion anymore (ie first year players) but from what I can see it hasn’t been won by the same player twice so make of that what you will).

Template for your convenience

Norm Smith Memorial Trophy (most consistent competitor):

Ron Barassi Jnr Trophy (leadership):

Harold Ball Memorial Trophy (best young player):

Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Award (best and fairest):

  1. First
  2. Second
  3. Third
  4. Fourth
  5. Fifth
  6. Sixth
  7. Seventh
  8. Eighth
  9. Ninth
  10. Tenth

Tonight from 7pm. Event will be streamed on the club website/app.

Quite looking forward to this actually. Oliver would have to be the favourite but I do think surprise results are more common in the club Best and Fairests due to the internal value placed on role players etc.

Yep. Fantastic speech from Neita! Superb recognition of an amazing human in Neale! Quite remarkable a Daniher is a hall of famer with the Dees! So glad he was able to see us finally win one.

Congratulations to Clayton, a very deserving winner in OUR premiership year, I watched Robbie Flower play for years and thought I would never see a better player than him for this Club, if Clayton can continue to improve, (and I seriously think there is improvement in him) he will realistically be able to lay claim to our very best modern day footballer.
