best and worst football grounds in the Geelong Region

mine is probably Drysdale, yes it's very biased because it's my home ground but it's better than a lot others

I've never actually played at Queens Park but I played at Grovey and it was s#%thouse it smelt like it too. I played on the school oval next to it for an actual under 15's match and there was just coke cans all over the field

Barwon Heads with a strong southwesterly blowing straight off Bass Strait.

Never played out there but liked the Portarlington ground

Played all my footy at Grovey. Great ground for us but I’ll admit I can see why everyone else hated it. Would just about be the coldest ground in Geelong. I’ve been to a game there where it was 30 degrees in the first half and most in the crowd were wearing singlets shorts and thongs. A change swept thru at half time with the temp dropping about 15 degrees with a howling wind and rain blowing straight into the club rooms end from Torquay
