I look after network security within the company I work for and we find Norton's Antivirus the best to use, however most major Antivirus applications are very similar.

- Best thing to is to find one that is easy for you to use and update regularly.
- Next it is best to learn about and actually USE 'Secutiry Practices" on their sysmtems. (This means not opening attachments etc... you can look this infor up online)
- The last thing is to visit a Antivirus site atleast once a week and see what the latest threats are and make sure you're covered. Also keep an ear/eye out in the news for references to any new viruses, as soon as you hear about one look it up straight away.

I use AntiVir XP. Its very good except needs to be updated a bit (like all would) so if your looking to buy (not download) this is a good one for you.

I use a program that came with my laptop called: Trend Micro PC-Cillin.
It only costs $20 to register for 12 months and includes a firewall (and after trying for ages to network the thing, i found out it works!) and anti-virus software for palm pilots, as well as regular updates.

The other computers in the house all use VET without a problem.
