What's scary about that WCE backline of 1994 is that both McIntosh and Jakovich were yet to turn 22 and they were both premiership winning mainstays of one of the best defenses in recent memory. What's scarier is that you could say the exact same thing about them two years earlier when we won our first flag.

But yeah, McKenna-Jakovich-Worsfold. We really were spoiled to have that half-back line. Just a massive wall.

Carlton's 95 premiership winning backline certainly held its own.

Sexton, Silvagni, Hogg
Christou, Dean Mckay

Sexton - 200 games, 2 x AA
Silvagni - 300+ games, 5 x AA
Hogg - Vic rep, 170 odd games
Christou - AA
Dean - 248 games, 2 x premiership player
McKay - 244 games, 4 x AA
Bloody under-rated player was Peter Dean. Unobtrusive but rarely beated. Silvagni, Sexton and McKay were absolute guns, whilst Christou was great running off half back.
