see like i thouht you guys have only heard a certain few songs. I'd put money on it that you guys have maybe heard one out of the songs i mentioned above. (is this the end scream 3) Also if you want to get really deep into it look at tears in heaven by clapton, now don't take this the wrong way it's a great song i am also a huge clapton fan but doesn't he sing about heaven in that song? hmm i think he did and doesn't this suggest to the listener that their is a heaven? think it does.
See there is thousands and thousands of songs like this made by people who may or may not be religious.

Figjam - Im not saying Radiohead are not a good band, they are certainly among the best bands to come out of the 90's but you say Oasis are just rehashing left over ideas from Let It Be yet only say Radiohead is PinkFloydesque?? If they were trying to be any more Pink Floyd then Thom Yorke would spontaniously combust into Dave Gilmour!!

The thing with music today is that sadly it has all been done before. I like Radiohead they are a decent band but neither Kid A or OK Computer get close to Oasis' best work.

You stack Kid A and OK Computer up against probably the two best albums of the last decade in Definitly Maybe and Whats the Story Morning Glory and they pale in comparison. Oasis was what the world needed in the early 90's coming off the worst decade in music history .... the 80's And they rammed that home with some of the best music the world has ever heard since the Beatles, hell even Radioheads two albums dont rate against Nevermind, another one of the best albums of the last decade.

You say they are not trying to get to the mantle of Supergroup, well even if they did try they would fail. You need to have music like early U2 and Oasis to get near that status in todays world. Which furthers my point that Supergroups dont really exist anymore.

Apparently after a show one night, he left them on a heater, and they melted, and were never seen again!

Remember this was VERY early days though, so it's unlikely that many people know.

Lars wore them too, but that's no surprise really I guess.

Radiohead is soooooo far from being the best band in the world its hilarious. The truth of the matter is that there really isnt any supergroups anymore, all that died when The Beatles, Stones Floyd, Straits, Beach Boys ect slowed down or broke up or just stopped making music.

The only true supergroups left in the world today are U2 and Oasis, and they both make Radioheads music sound like Rolf Harris.

Tool...altho i do not agree with their views on some issues, are possibly the best heavy/alternative band in the world at the moment. They sh!t all over Creed. Creed..hahaha, they make me laugh. Pathetic Pearl Jam clone that is trying to relive grunge which died YEARS ago. 3 doors down is exactly the same. Creed are BY FAR the most overrated band around at the moment...or if not, then equal with limp bizkit. To say Creed is better than Tool is like saying Limp Bizkit is better than Black Sabbath.

Not to mention the fact that Creeds three more well known songs off their latest cd sound EXACTLY the same

Listen to 'The Fragile' and tell me that that album is not a complete work of art.

I just cant take anything you say seriously. I mean you think Korn are a good band?? What more can be said. I disagree with your Silverchair comments, i thought Neon Ballroom was a step forward for them. Took them out of there teenage heavy rock stage to a more mature style of music. I cant wait for there next album to see if they continue to take steps forward.

However i do agree with your Limp Bizkit comments, you see Jebs taking the ******** out of them at big day out 2000. Funny stuff. But Limp are no more crap than NIN, Korn, Sepultra and other s.h.i.t. bands like that. None of those bands i mentioned can write a decent song and NIN being the best band of the last decade is hilarious. I could rattle of 50 bands that have been better than them the last decade.

The only light at the end of the tunnel for you my friend is Jebediah. They are the best Australia can offer.... and they ROCK.

Tool Black Sabbath Limp Bizkit...its not really music, its more ... for lack of a better word ... noise. Creed are hardly a Pearl Jam clone, hell there a religious group!! But there still very good, why do you think they cleaned up at the Grammy's?

Nirvana were certainly not one of the greatest bands of all time and Kurt Cobain was not particularly a great musician however they were in the right place at the right time and Kurt could certainly write a tune. He was a great songwriter and Nirvana can certainly stake a claim at having the best album of the last ten years. Rolling Stone from memory rated Nevermind as the 5th best album of all time, so i doubt they were overated.

Trent Reznor a musical god is one of the funniest things i have ever heard. You obviously have wondered off the track a little. Beneath is a brief list of musical gods, they are the real thing, GODS of music, people that changed the world and made music that had a profound effect on society. Reznor is not one of those people.
