(Apologies if this has been asked before I could not find it)
Ok, so I got the game last night on 360, first AFL game I have played since AFL live 04(the one with Rocca on the cover).

So I struggled quite a bit first game getting used to the controls etc, I found I need to change the camera angle to get in closer to see what my players were doing but I really struggle to find a really good camera angle, the further out you go the better it is for positional play but its not great for marking contests, skills etc.

I figure I will learn the skills timings in close and then eventually go to a further out view for ball movement when I get better.

Anyone got any suggestions with whats the best camera angle and what they use ??

I use the default (Side Balanced)....but I've found the Broadcast Close angle can also be good to get more detail in the screen. It's sometimes good for looking up the field, but other times absolutely terrible. (depends on where on the ground you are.)

Side-Balanced (default).

Wouldn't mind a camera angle where it's side on in the middle of the ground (like side-balanced) but pans just slightly behind and above the goals when at either end of the ground so you can see further up the field. Camera would be about the same height as the current side-balanced camera and would have about the same zoom, perhaps a little more zoom when near either end of the ground.

I use both side close, which is bad because you can't see what you're kicking to, and end to end balanced, where you can kick to leads far better but sometimes find it hard to know whats going on on your goal line/deep in the pockets.

It just a matter of personal preference.
