Our core base of players are playing as a rabble. All terribly out of form at the same time.
Clearly we are going to have a bad year this season. Whether we win 3 games or 7 games, we will finish bottom 4 no doubt.
What is the best case scenario?
-Richmond wins less than 5 games (if we are going to have a dud year, why have a dud year and win 7 games) and gets a priority pick.
-Richmond pick up a key defender (not a dinosaur like Holland) in the next national draft (someone like Jared Rivers from Melbourne) and a pacy midfielder.
-Frawley is sacked and Wallace is welcomed in as the savour of the club
-Young players are given a go at senior level at 2004 and go into 2005 knowing they can compete at the level.
-Richmond completes the clean out that started last year.
-Richmond continue to be aggressive in the trading period. Trade one of our many midsized players (no one should be off limits) for a quality key position player. Make a tough decision rather than take the easy option and throw away a top draft pick.
