Yeah they did run their own site, but it was hosted by Channel 7 I think.

It was hosted at Pacific Internet (at least for a while). The AU CEO was an Essendon fan and somehow it ended up there. They also had deals for Cricket Australia and the AFLPA.

North can afford one - it costs like $200 a year to host a webpage, where are they gonna get that sort of dough??? If every one of their fans contributed a dollar, they would still have to raise another $150.

This really explains why they struggled to dominate financially after the 90's flags - they didn't have a bloody website.

I am a huge supporter of the mighty hawks but i must say that the hawthorn forums i have been into are the worst. There is so much bitching going on it is not funny

i know for sure that this has been going on for a while and some of it has been crossing over into the Official Footy Site which shouldnt be happening
