One of my all time favourites and so disappointing we couldn't get a couple/few more seasons out of him. Could torp a ball to the moon and is in the conversation for our best wingman.Paul Seedsman. In 2021 he deserved an All Aus and losing him meant we have had to watch Sholl pull out of contests.
Rioi, that's right.Blights a different cat to Kern
Pickett did something similar against FreoRioi, that's right.

Took a mark on the flank with 2 minutes to go. Inexplicably played on immediately rather than soak up time. Completely ignored a Dangerfield lead that had entirely burnt his defender and was virtually a sure thing, and would've chewed up another 30 seconds and given Danger a shot to ice the game from 20m out. Instead he blazed away with a kick from 48m out in the Tony Hall pocket that was never scoring, and instead went out of bounds. Less than 30 seconds later Monfries kicks his bullshit goal, and as soon as that went through you knew we weren't winning that game.
The stats sheet shows Johnston kicked 4 that day, but that's the only kick I remember.
Disliked him after this. My lasting memory of him. Terrible decision making. Ended up costing us the match.Yep

I’d had a few at the game and when he marked thought that would just about do it. And I told the crowd as such.
Then he blazed away…
Should have hit danger on the tit
