Ian Callinan was another one, though he did have a pretty good 2012 season.

Lack of height and speed was his issue, but his skillset was incredible.

Top 3 players I’ve seen off both feet. Not so sure about his hit on Phillips in the 2010 gf; probably the only cross on his career.

I was convinced James Sellar was the Second Coming. I couldn't believe when he slid to 14 or whatever it was and we were able to get him.
Unfortunately a classic tweener, was a ruckman but not tall enough to play as no. 1, but didn’t have the forward craft to play there.

Showed a little bit as a KPD, but not enough ultimately.

5-6cm taller he’d have been challenging Jacobs role as our ruck IMO.

Just feel he was overrated. His ability to burn the ball at crucial times sticks in my mind
Overrated is a different discussion to "never quite made it". You can have your opinion on him, but he absolutely made it. That's not subjective.

I always say John Klug because if we started a little earlier he has a very long career
David Marshall another who looked really classy in that first year

Could have been a great AFL/VFL wingman

Got developed by neil craig too, so y'know hard to say what he might have been.

He was an enlisted senior player by Cornes to help the younger guys. He was in his 30s by the time the Crows came around. Did his job well I think in those first two years. But in those days where there was no load management and as Cornes put it 'preseason was about pain' i can understand why a lot of guys fell away quick in their late 20s early 30s. A lot of Sanfl guys were talked out of going to the VFL though in the 80s. So I can understand why some players spent their careers in the Sanfl.

Easily could have stepped up to that level, was always surprised he never went to be honest.

I still remember watching him in the reserves game at Footy park kicking one from the boundary about 50 out with seconds left to win the game.

I remember thinking this kid could be something.
