How good was the Luke Darcy volley to square the ball to Paul Hudson late in the game?
We were the Comeback Kings under Wallace.
The week prior we came from 40 points down at 3/4 time to beat the Crows. Two weeks before that, we were 40 points down at qtr time against the Swans at the SCG and won fairly comfortably in the end.
The week after the Geelong comeback you speak of, we were 15 points down with two and a half minutes remaining against the Blues. We kicked two very quick goals to give us an opportunity to win. A couple of chances inside the final 60 seconds to take a mark inside 50 but it wasn't to be.
We only lost six H&A matches that season (1999) and three of them were by fewer than nine points.
We also lost this game in round two which was a scoring bonanza. Despite the loss, a very entertaining match with almost 300 combined points scored.
You'd love these threads. You cannot be serious? We lost. Shit day. No one cares about stats.

Stats observations
Thought we could do with a random stat thread, those that are not so obvious: 1. Last time Geelong finished a season in the bottom 4: 1985 2. For the period 2000-2009 (up to Rd 5), Port Adelaide has recorded 128 wins, more than any other side. 3. For the period 2000-2009 (up to Rd 5)...www.bigfooty.com
Stats questions
How about a place where we can ask for a various stat and hopefully one of us can come up with an answer? If you can answer a stat question, it would be helpful if you could indicate where or how you found the answer. If you can correct or elaborate on answer, please do so. Or you can do like me...www.bigfooty.com
