Best Dream Team Pick Ups

Who has had someone or more than one player from the beginning of the year who has become a revelation. I know that i have certainly been bragging to my mates as i picked up Steven Salopek at the beginning of the year.

Did anyone pick anyone up a bit later like around Round 2 or so? I got Dane Swan after Round 2 and have loved him.

Good pick up money wise for me was 4 weeks ago when murphy got injured and i traded him for bell who was then at 249 k. he ahs got 139 61 97 and 120 for me. good for value.

I also picked up jimmy bartel when lenny hayes got injured. has been quite a player pciking up four hundreds in a row last 4 weeks.

Until this week (getting Tyson Edwards in), my Centres were;

Marc Murphy,
Salopek (still there),
Rischitelli (still there...although tempted to get him out for Luke Power with my last trade.)
Symes (still there)


Salpek was the most expensive at about $120k!

No wonder I'm only about 1500th all up...but my big, expensive forward line has had me finish on top of my league.

Jobe Watson, had him and Polo from the start.

Michael Johnson was also pretty good.

Symes was a great cash cow

Cross started at 390! i picked him up for Hayes at his lowest price, 323, that is a bargain.

He has gone under the radar for most people. Averaging 99 now, he is beautiful.

The good pick ups from the start of the season
Massie- was picked up for a backup & proven handy after a truck load of injuries.
Swan- best performed dt player this season, has been very good, if only Mick would play him for a whole game.
Bate- starting to become a consistent performer.
Simmonds- finally playing the position he was recruited for, which convinced me to pick him up.
Watson- this years replacement for Tucky, who performed so well for me last year.

And perhaps my most satisfying selection was Bate. I had the little gun from the very beginning, none of this "picking him up before he's about to rise" rubbish...
