There's another 350 odd forward entries to be spread around if Franklin wasn't there.

That's double what Roughead received this year. So even if he only got half of those, he'd get double the opportunities. Not saying he'd get double the score (130+ goals would be handy nonetheless!), but surely he would improve some.

Williams would be the big improver, getting about the same number of forward entries as when he was kicking 60 goals on the #1 defenders. By the same way we discount Roughead's hypothetical performance against greater skill defender, we would have to increase Williams' hypothetical performance against a lesser opponent.

So hypothetically we lose 100 from Franklin, Roughead gets an extra (say) 35, Williams an extra 40, maybe another 20 spread around the other forwards. We'd lose 10 goals, and 30-40 points a year without Franklin.

Hawthorn atm. They are emerging still because they still have a great deal of improvement left. Essendon's forwards will be very good if they can stay fit (looks like a big if at this stage).

Dont think Schulz will be in our forward line.

HF: Morton Johnston ;) Cotchin/Deledio/Tambling
FF: Collard Hughes Riewoldt

Funny how OP supports Essendon and puts 5 players in the poll for his team and 4 in the others.

Seriously - your forward line will not even reach top 5 for the next 10 years

That's because I don't know the other teams well enough to show 5 emerging forwards for each of them...

What's wrong with you???

As others have said, easily the Hawks.

Carltons is just plain terrible, not sure why its in the list.

Essendons has a lot of question marks over it, i think it should come good though, far better than Carltons.

Richmond-meh

I rate West Coasts as the best from the list. Kennedy, McKinley and Le cras are quality.

So from that list i would go:
West Coast
Essendon
Richmond
Carlton

Basically what you are saying is that you dont buddy at all:p i think he is worth a lot more than 10 goals over the course of a season.

Bombers have got a promising forward line going and ryder could play forward which would make things really interesting

Hawthorn - Self Explanatory
Collingwood - Dawes, Anthony, Cloke and their crumbers aren't exactly old either.
Essendon - Gumby could be a player if he gets over injuries, Chunks has already shown he has what it taks to be our next full forward. Jugs was promising in the VFL kicking 5 before getting injured, Davey (gun), Jetta look promising and gus is gonig alright too.

the bombers young forwards dont look to bad actually ..

but i'm clearly biased ... so tigers ... just take shultz out .. COLLARD IN

HF: Morton Trengrove Gourdis

FF: Collard Hughes Riewoldt

Only Tigers fans would appreciate how good it will be.......for now. :)

What a stupid thread.

How richmond are winning is beyond me as well.

Mckinley is the only good star of the future in that group of 16.
