All three at some point held a world record for catches.

Btw, when did the term "batters" become standard? I'm guessing it's meant to be more PC, but it sounds too much like baseball for my liking.

I doubt it. Also wasn't Ponting at 3rd slip and S Waugh at gully. Not too shabby.

Rod Marsh and the Chappells would be on par with those guys.

Mark Waugh best slipper I've seen.

Best cordon would be Tubby, Warney and Junior. Punter is a great slipper as was Greg Chappell. Shane Watson is pretty good.

Best ever fielding team all round would just about be would be the one that played in the 2006/7 Ashes series in Melbourne and Brisbane

That is off the top of my head.

Taylor, Waugh and Warne would be close.

For Australia, that's the three I would have said in my lifetime of watching, that's the younger Waugh with Tubby and Warne.

Mike Hussey is one of the best gully fielders we've had, but Bruce Yardley was a fine fielder in that spot as well.

He really isn't IMO. Puts down plenty he should take.
