Hirdy had 34 and a goal in his last.
BJ had 27 and 6 rebound 50s in his last
Neale Daniher kicked 3.4 in the "All 4 Danihers" game which was his last

Not so much.
St.Kilda were a truly awful side, whilst Melbourne won 11 and lost 7.
The week before he kicked 10 against Footscray.
He left Melbourne at these of 27.
One of the best full forwards ever - a goal kicking average of 3.95 doesn't tell the full tale.

Fanning was only 26 at the time and left to play country football with Hamilton as they were willing to pay him more cash than he would have gotten in the VFL. A quick look on wikipedia says he was offered 3 times the cash.
