Best First Game ?

Ablett senior had the best first state of origin game. 8 goals from the HFF against WA in Perth. Few eyebrows were raised when he was named, but he certainly silenced his critics in that match.

Chris Judd :thumbsu: 22 possies and a goal in the same game Brodie Holland kicked 8

Another vote for Daniel Metropolis.

His first game was his best game. After that, meh...

Dermott Brereton for mine. Kicked five on debut in a final in 82. Then proceeded to raise the bar with every game he played. Some of the other guys mentioned didn't go on to be champions.

Was there for Scotty Cummings 8 goal haul against the Swans. Derek Kickett was facing the Dons for the first time that day.

Scotty was marking everything that went near him.

Must have been on the Benny Cousins wodner drug and thought the ball was a hamburger.

I think Dean Greig got 39 possesions in his debut game for the saints - help me out some saints fans.

He was as tough as they come too.

Wasn't the "Millennium Match" actually played for premiership points?

Back OT having been reminded of Adrian McAdams fantastic start I've gotta go with him? WTH happened to him after that?

Drew Petrie against the Tigers back in 2001. Had to ruck against Ottens and Brendan Gale for the whole match and did more than hold his own.

I think Daniel Harris had 2 30 possession games in his first 2 games against Essendon and Brisbane.

Correct he did. That was in 91 or 92. John Georgiou also got 40 touches on debut in 92.
