Best Free Screen Recorder For Video Recording

I tried out ice cream screen recorder but have to pay to get Full Version and Only can record 5 Minutes.

Open Broadcast Software (OBS) can be configured to do this - I've used it to record game play of games (Don Bradman Cricket, AFL Evolution etC) that Shadowplay couldn't record (as they were not compatible).

It's a bit fiddly, and you have to experiment a bit to get the video quality to your liking. But once it works like a treat, it's pretty good and reminds me of the days of rigging the NES and Sega Mega Drive to a VCR
