What's the best line up your club can come up with for next season? For Manchester United, it would have to be

Barthez, Silvestre, Stam, Brown, G.Neville, Beckham, Keane, Veron, Giggs, Scholes, Van Nistlerooy.

On the bench: Van De Geow, Solksjaer, Cole, Chadwick, Fletcher, Johnsen (if he ever gets fit).

For Everton....

(This how I would like to see the team..)

-------------------Gerrard--------------------------
Weir-------Stubbs------Unsworth-----Watson
Graveson-----Gemmill----Pembridge---Xavier
---------Campbell--------Radzinski-------------

Bench = Simonsen (GK),Ferguson, Tal, Naysmith,Pistone, Cadamarteri

Preety good line up, but can we stay injury free this year!

Take note of our new signing Thomas Radzinski, he is an absolute gun, and at 4.5 million pounds, a bargain!

LIVERPOOL

----------------------Westerveld----------------------
Babbel-------Hyypia------Henchoz-----Carragher
Barmby------Gerrard-----McAllister-------Berger-
---------------Heskey---------Owen-----------------

Interchange: Fowler, Murphy, Smicer, Redknapp, Litmanen and Hamann

Fowler is 100 x better than that hack by the name of Heskey

I'd also rather have smicer than that traitor piece of **** in midfield

Heskey and Owen have been a far better combination. Heskey is a power player who holds the ball up quite well....good at his feet...and can produce some cracking goals!! Fowler showed his worth to the team in the latter stages of the season...and he is still the most 'natural' of the English strikers.

He's red his white
he didn't like playing for the sh*te
Nick Barmby...Nick Barmby!!! :p :p

Gee...i am going to have some fun with you this season mate! :D

At least we agree on the midfield, central defenders, and goalkeeper! :D

I prefer Silvestre to Philip Neville as Silvestre has better skills on the ball and will always look to pass out and create rather than bomb the ball out of defence. P.Neville is one of the best crossers at the club, but his form for the last couple of season has been serviceable rather than great. I would imagine they'd use Phil against lower quality opposition and use Silvestre in Europe and the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, and Leeds domestically.

Solskjaer or Scholes......either one would do. Scholes has the advantage of being able to play in midfield and which gives him the edge in my mind. It's interesting that neither of us nominated Cole or Yorke in our best 11.

Watch out for young Darren Fletcher. He's a Scottish midfielder, has a bit of grunt, and is meant to be our best young prospect since the era that gave us Beckham, Scholes, and Giggs. They expect him to play plenty of senior games this season.

Silvestre is only young. Its interesting to note that not many Manc supporters in England like Silvestre...they find him to be a bit incompetent at the moment. He is young tho and will improve with age...i dont think silvestre has the polish that P Neville has at the moment.

I like Solskjaer - he is my favourite player and a superstar.
Id have Yorke in my side if it wasnt for Nistelrooy, i dont like COle much, he is a bit dissapointing. If i was manager then Yorke would always get 30 minutes a game anyway...maybe sacrificing a midfielder for a third attacker or putting yorke and solskjaer as strikers and scholes just a bit up the field a bit more...like an attacking midfielder.
Fletcher - cant say ive heard of him before but if he has the potential you say he does then ill be very happy.

There are a lot of youngsters at our club that havent played many games and dont really look like it - even tho they would get regular games at other clubs.
Players like Clegg, Culkin, Rachubka. Id also like to see David May and Denis Irwin get some more games. If Johnsen could get fit he would slot right in down back as well.
I hope its another succesful year for the devils

There has been a big turnaround in the opinion of Silvestre in the second half of last season. What you said about a negative view of him by the fans was correct, but it seems that he's turned opinion around.....so much so that Barcelona were after him.

For the best United info, go to www.redissue.co.uk You should also sign up for their fanzine (it'll cost about $60 for 12 issues...great reading...details on the website).

cheers buddy...i usually get my info from the official site (one of the best sports sites in the world).
ill check out the redissue site now mate.

Macca, P Neville on the right and brother Gary on the left?
Shouldnt it be the other way around?
Personally I am glad Silvestre chose Utd instead of Liverpool as I think it was a blessing in disguise for us with the season Carragher had.
I notice no spot in the squad for the new signing Riise.... TOPDON, although I am a Berger fan I think he is gonna have to improve defensively to keep the new lad out.
All the best
Smithy

Silvestre is a prick!

Plus united fans coz Micheal Ball is set to leave us :( , i hope yous poach him before he does something stupid and goes to Anfield

I also hope that on his arrival he slips of the escalator at the airport and breaks both his legs, which ultimately turns into an injury which end to his career ;)

Ball, Jeffers, Barmby---> Traitoring Pricks!! we dont need yous!

I don't even bother checking the official site these days. You'll find that the Red Issue site will give you the latest news well before the official site. Also, RI is useful for gossip....for instance, they sniffed the Veron to United story about two days before the first meeting between Ferguson and Veron's agent! If you want to know the real reason why Thuram went to Juventus instead of us, it'll be in Red Issue rather than the Official site. And if you want to find out the latest on the on again off again relationship between Dwight Yorke and Jordan, well, it'll be in Red Issue and not the official site...... :D

Leeds United

Keeper
Martyn

Backs
Harte, Radebe, Ferdinand, Kelly

Midfield
Bowyer, Dacourt, Bakke, Kewell

Strikers
Viduka, Smith

Reserves
Robinson (gk), Matteo, Batty, Keane

This is based on last years squad, not up to date on transfers in and out. Hope they have a better run with injuries early in the year.

I like Bakke, he has the potential to become a star

Thats if O'leary plays him, and doesnt persist with that old hack Batty

Dacourt!- anther ex evertonian :(

How do you Utd fans feel bout Rudolph (Schmeichel) in goal for Villa this season???
-----------------------

Also some transfer speculation

Mendieta from Valencia could join Lazio for 29.6 million pounds.

And Della Bonna from Chelsea, could goto AC Milan.

Thinking back, maybe on the bench instead of Batty. Can't put him ahead of Ferdinand, Radebe or Harte. The fourth defender's spot a toss up between Kelly, Batty and Woodgate. A lot depends on injuries, same as every club. Maybe that's a sign of better depth that I couldn't fit him in. They need the depth to challenge Man U. and the couple of other clubs that can compete.
