Essendon doesnt have a great midfield..not compared to others. Their strength is their depths and especially their strong forwards and defenders. Their midfield is probably slightly above average.
TBH, it's been a bit hard to tell about our backline.

And the forward line has been wasting a lot of opportunities.

I can't work out why the ball is getting forward and not getting back with our crap midfield.

Dont be to harsh, its not that they are crap, but just not as good as half dozen other teams.

On a side note, have you purchased your 3 game Tiger membership yet? You spend so much time talking Tiger i figgure you must be a bit of a closet supporter.

Collingwood have the best midfield.
Carlton second. Richmond third.
No Murphy and Carrazzo and 17th placed ruck in Hampson, dont think so.

Its about now, and in the last month Maric number two for both hitouts and hitouts to advantage, and our mids are number one for center clearances and inside 50`s. Deledio 2nd and Foley 4th, and best placed Blue is Judd at 17th.

I can understand Tiges wanting to talk us down, but fact is our mids are playing as good as any and as good as i can remember.
