Stars has the best customer service and highest traffic by a long way. Fulltilt has its upside too, rush is awesome and you can get direct rakeback. Cant go wrong with either though.

Depends what you're looking for. For availability of games and quality of software, FT and Stars are streets ahead. If you are looking for the best bonuses or the fishiest players, you have to look elsewhere.

Full Tilt - Better choice for cash games. For mine the software is a lot better, but with rakeback you cant go wrong. Direct funds into your account every Saturday morning

Pokerstars - Better choice for tournaments. Higher guarantees, larger playing fields (payout structure isnt great though) and a higher volume of tournaments. Their rewards system is nice but it doesnt compare to rakeback unless you are chasing Supernova

UltimateBet - Dont. Its simple. Dont.

Victory Poker - Low numbers, low guarantees, low everything. Bad software but decent rakeback. Just not worth the effort

CakePoker - See UltimateBet

Really the only choices are Pokerstars and Full Tilt. If you want tournaments go to Pokerstars, if you want Cash game go to Full Tilt. Just make sure you get rakeback on FT though, rakebackpros is a good site for that

Ultimatebet is my favourite. Looks great, and plays great. I don't play for money however, AND IT HAS BLACKJACK, WIN!

You dont play for money, but you are excited about UB because it has blackjack?

Why dont you just grab a deck of cards at home and deal yourself some hands for apples and bananas from the fruit bowl

Any poker software with general gambling is a bad bad idea, Party Poker for instance is a full online Casino which you dont want

Cakepoker is just bad all round

The HH software is laughable

Soft players sure but overall just a bad bad network/skin

Ok. Software is crap for sure, but I thought you were implying UB style scandals.

I don't mind Cake at all, because I can net over 50% RB with bonuses and rake races, plus the players are very weak. It's also good practice to be not relying on a HUD.

Only if you're the sort of person who can't stop yourself from playing losing gambling games.

bad for poker in general, online poker should be doing everything it can to distance itself from pure casino gambling.

it's also bad for the game. degens should be putting their cash into the poker economy, not online roulette/blackjack ;-)

this exactly

cbf quoting the people who asked why but above are the biggest reasons

Online poker is in a desperate bid to try and legalise itself worldwide, and its failing miserably because of the 'gambling' debate in the US. Having a blackjack table or roullette table avaiable on an online poker site for players to tilt their money away gives every lawyer/politician ammo to have it banned in the US

Once its banned in the US, online poker is going to be extremely hard to play. The fish wont be there, the volume wont be there, the entertainment wont be there. All of Europe has its own sites, we would be left to grind it out against NZ

Secondly, also mentioned above, we dont want tilt monkeys giving their money away on blackjack, we want tilt monkeys taking it to higher limit tables and giving it to the regs. Thus the circle of poker maintains its balance

Lastly, for when YOU tilt. I played on partypoker, after my first losing session I tilted it all away on roulette. I didnt play their again for that specific reason. Tilt is your biggest enemy in poker, that mixed in with a roulette table are a dangerous mix

Also the proof is in the pudding. The 2 biggest poker sites in the world are the 2 without online casinos

Started with Full tilt then pokerstars. I find the mac software for pokerstars to be reallly nice, but yeah I like both of them. Always cool to sit watching Tom Dwan etc playing each other on full tilt too

I've played on a few sites and I have to say Poker Stars is my favourite by far. I don't know what it is but I find it so much easier to navigate.

I'm playing a fair bit on VIP Poker which was an app I found on my iPad.

Very enthralling, especially since they put the keyboard function up where you can talk.

Anyone know what is happening with full tilt ?? All monies lost ??

I play PKR..... LOVE IT :thumbsu:

All players money is siezed by the US Department of Justice

Guys like Ferguson, Lederer and Bitar have been charged with multiple offences

There are apparent potential investors they will pay out US funds if a deal is made, but if not, people are estimating players getting 10-20c on the dollar once its all settled and liquidators take over

Its a shame, its easily the best software and had the players balance not been such a mess it wouldve been snatched up already
