At least Hall had some impact 'cos he made it onto the field during the match.
There are at least 40 or more players who never made it off the reserves bench for entire game,
indeed of those, at least seven or eight had two entire games on the bench.

I am not sure this is a debate we can have because if you pick any player from the 80's or earlier then the game has changed too much to make a proper comparison between modern players and players back then.
