Any doubt i had about the best player ive ever seen were dismissed on Saturday afternoon.
Michael Voss is the perfect footballer anyone would love to have in theyre team. Great leader, Couragous, Good bloke and most important a great team man.
I have no doubt in my mind he is the best player ive seen.

I don't remember seeing Russell Ebert play, but Michael Aish is the most talented footballer I've seen.

Michael Voss for mine. Nathan Buckley was unbeleiavable on Saturday I wanted someone to knock him so we would've been more of a bigger chance :p thats how big of an impact he makes to that Collingwood side .. I wish he didnt leave Brisbane but he did.

I shudder to think of Brisbane's midfield if Bucks stayed in Brissy.

Holy Christ!

I must say that Gary Ablett would be the standout for me. Of the current crop i would rate Voss and Carey.

LMAO! Yeah that midfield would be the best midfield in the business for sure, maybe ever..

I wasn't alive when Leigh Matthews was playing footy, well I was but I would've been only young I've heard he was one of the best ever.. I'd love to watch his games.

Ted Whitten (yeah i have seen him when he went around at that state of origin game at the mcg in that car like shortly before he died)
Nick Riewoldt (2 years from now)
Robert Harvey
Ian Stewart

Thats who I forgot James Hird geez how could I leave him out I may not like Essendon or many player from the team but James Hird love him or hate him hes magnificent!

1.carey-from 92-99 was unstopable even when injured)
2.Ablett-one of the few players who could win a match from his own boot
3.silvangi-Best defender of this generation, could also move forward, does not get enough credit because he was a defender, but i felt Carlton suffered alot from his retirement

Honourable mentions-Buckley,Platten,Voss,Daicos,Hird,Jarman,Kelly

Porthos, I did see Russell Ebert play and he could have run rings around Michael Aish. Never saw Barrie Robran, though. Blame that on Leigh Matthews.
How could I forget Silvagni, he's my favourite all time player

He'd definetly make my top 5 list and is the best defender I've ever seen by a country mile.

For ball skills and being ahead of his time in being able to play both sides of his body - Baldock.
For sheer domination when he was 'on' - Ablett.

Voss
Ablett
Carey
Buckley
Carman (on talent alone for 2-3 years but not over a long career)
