Further to our Roos team we are currently voting on, what about naming the best 5 Roos players in your opinion. We could vote them on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis and tally them up in 2-3 weeks time.

For starters I would go
1.Wayne Carey
2.Malcolm Blight
3.Wayne Schimmelbusch
4.David Dench
5.Keith Greig
Jeez Barry Cable stiff to miss out, possibly some of the earlier players too. I didn't see them play so I'm hesitant to comment, but it's hard to imagine them having been as important to the club as the five mentioned above.

Your thoughts please...

Okay here we Go...

1. obviously the King...
2. Kieth Greig
3. Wayne Schimmelbusch the player not the coach...
4. Ross Glendinning
5. Barry Cable ties with Les Foote... because my mum told me I had to..

3 - Schimma
4 - Stevens
5 - Martyn

Apologies to Cable, Greig, Dench & Glendinning but I never had the chance to see them play.

Just noticed a trend going on here, the majority of the best 5 are all the 70's stars (with the exception of Duck), yet we have been just as successful in the 90's and could possibly keep going.. Interesting.

Carey
Blight
Greig
Dench
Schimma

Unlucky to miss out : Glendinning,Phil Krakouer, Aylett, Cable, Foote, Stevens
