I recently received my membership renewal information in the mail. I am thinking about trying to change seats. I would like to sit at ground level on the wing. i think block 108 is the best value for money seats at subi. they are cheap, on the wing, and at ground level where you can still fill apart of the action.

I love the seats just behind the interchange bench (blocks 104 and 105)> I sat there as a country member in 2003. But they are unfortunately sold out :( . I became a purple hearts member this year and sat in block 123 and that block isnt that good. Purple hearts membership has been scrapped for 2005 so now I have to look for a different seasom ticket. I am looking at the opposite side of the ground or closer to the city end where there are available seats. And since I go to the footy with my mum and family members occasionally, the family is looking at getting a family season ticket (2adults, 3 kids). So we need to look for a block which has five empty seats in a row possibly.

I personally like it on the 2nd levels, i find it helps you get a clear view over the other side and the other end. You dont lose the play where it rolls over the otherside of the ovals curve.

They are canning Purple Hearts memberships next year onwards so to compensate for such members like me I get to purchase a Premium season ticket (for me and a friend or family member if they want one etc) at the same price as a Standard seson ticket - cool. ;)

I might try the premium blocks in blocks 103, 104, 105 or 106. Behind the interchange bench and the best places on the ground in my view.

Purple Hearts was a type of membership where a member pays $399 ($375 renewal) for a season ticket in block 123. They are not allocated a seat in block 123, so they can sit whereever they like. They also get to invite up to four guests to each game for $25 each. There are two functions held during the year for Purple Hearts (an exclusive season launch and an exclusive function at training to meet coaches and players)- but unfortunately this year they couldnt have the functions so instead there is a big function planned for members at the end of the year. Purple hearts members also get a keyring aswell as all other membership and season ticket entitlements. I got it purely because I could invite friends and family members to games when they couldnt go to all games.

block 126 isn't bad, i like being close 2 the action so they're alright seats 4 me

The outer wing (Roberts Rd side) is a darn good alternative.

You can watch the game from the outer and then go home and watch it on replay from the opposite angle. You get a far more rounded view of what occured in the game, rather than just getting the "commentary view".
