The best sledge I’ve ever heard anywhere was during a game I was coaching. Against one of my players. We were playing a side that was known for being “rich”. You know those local clubs who pay their players heaps, have the best facilities etc... we were up by a couple of goals, and one of our blokes took the opportunity to sledge...

Our bloke: “all your ****en money and star players, and you can’t even beat us!”

Their bloke: “shut up or we’ll buy your club and turn into a housing estate!”
