It's out of the Hawthorn and Freo duos easily. I've gone for the Freo duo just, no real reason apart from if you asked me which of the pair I'd want I'd go for the Freo, no defining stats or anything to back it up, just an opinion formed from watching them.

Walters and Ballantyne. Might be different if Rioli could get on the park.

Rioli and Breust are the two best small forwards in the league. Walters and Ballantyne are probably the third and fourth.

I voted the Hawks duo but I must admit I've always thought of Breust as more of a medium forward. Freo is damned close though. It was a tough call. Daylight to the next best pair.

That's funny since in the last two years Lindsay Thomas has kicked more goals than Rioli, Walters, and Ballantyne and only has one less than Breust though he's played seven more games than LT.

Rioli and Walters have been injured and LT's game is very one dimensional.

Thomas does literally NOTHING better than the rest apart from kick more goals. Ballantyne's kicked 10 more than Thomas this year as well. Rioli's been injured both years, Walters has been injured this year and only kicked 7 goals less last year. So it's not like it's a massive gap anyway.

Thomas is not even close to any of these small forwards. He puts nowhere near as much pressure or gives as much to the structure as these players do, and then you get to crumbing and he gets blown away.

Kicks more goals and is the best mark of the group but generally I agree with what you're saying though I don't think he's as far behind in the above categories as you're implying (ie tackles, 1%ers, goal assists etc).

Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith

Dives like he's on a springboard.
The others don't.
There's the difference.

Unfairly limiting this to duos. Port have Gray, Wingard, Neade and Monfries that would get a game in all 18 teams in the comp.

4 > 2 so Port win!
