Make Me Smile was inspired - rarely gets a mention. Jose's version of LMF I find irritating. Nice selection but!

Jose's version of LMF I find irritating.
Yeah, it wasn't one of my favourites until i heard a live version - and in the middle was about 5 minutes of the best guitar i've ever heard. If you can find it and download it, i hope you agree with me :D :thumbsu:

ELO did a version? I have only heard Bruce Springsteen who wrote it and Manfred Mann's who had a hit with it in 76?
I have two versions of the song, one by Manfred Mann and one fron ELO and they are both exactly the same. I think that Mann must be part of the group ELO.

Two different groups, Manfred Mann were around in the 60's too and covered Dylan's "Quinn The Eskimo" and also the hit "do wah diddy" which everyone knows. I am not sure about ELO doing a version, sometimes people get the artists mixed up before offering downloads of songs, very often.

Manfred Mann was also the keyboard player of the group named after him and he later started Manfred Manns Earth Band who did the cover of Blinded by the Light.

Just thought you might be interested to know thats all :)
