Best state in Aust

After reading the Melbourne weather thread i was wondering which was the best state to live in (not weather wise) and dont vote for your own state!

I voted for QLD!

I lived all over the world and travelled all over the place.

Hands down to Victoria.

Not only is the the home state of Collingwood, it is the home state of Eddie, Steve Bracks and ahem... Aussie Rules.

So it is safe to say if there was no Victoria, there would be no Big Footy and this site wouldn't exist anyway.

I thought you were showing some common sense by not including it. the place sucks and the only people who live there work with the government in the Public service. Boring town (except for some videos you can buy only there).

I understand your grievance nicko but Collingwood supporters always did have something wrong with themselves upstairs. But you must understand that most of them do have a distinct disadvantage in not having trailed interstate ever and a holiday is camping down at Rosebud.

Yep, thats the only thing making my time in Sydney a bit harder, altho Fox Footy has helped.

Sydney has a slight edge when it comes to things to do on weekends, opening hours etc
