Yeh it's a terrible call. I didn't see the game but from what iv seen of trengove he uses it really well.

I thought it was actually a positive for Melbourne that Trengove and Scully led the Demons for tackles today, I think they'd be pleased to see guys that young leading the way.

No, it's but one measure. I prefer to use my eyes when judging footballers. That said, never under estimate the ability to win possessions. If a player wins lots of the ball, has great disposal and decision making, then you've got an extremely valuable player. First year players make mistakes, but I do like to see how much ball they get.

Gibbs and Cooney are very good footballers and former no.1 picks, but only averaged a dozen disposals in their first year. Any first year 18/19 year old mid that can average over 20 possessions per game has done very well.

He did turn it over a lot but he also did one of the most amazing passes I've ever seen.. you know the one that hit Dunn on the chest (Dunn of course ****ed it up subsequently)

Dustin Martin already has the poise and skills of a experienced mid and will only improve has the season goes on. He is the best clearance players in the Richmond line up and he can go forward and kick a goal when needed.
