Best VAFA game of all time

Put in your top 5 games you have seen in your time watching VAFA footy (regardless of whether it's H&A, Representative/State games, finals Grand Finals)

Here's mine:

If you’re talking about the best VAFA game of all time from a representative/State game perspective, what about the day the VAFA played against the old VFA at Sandringham in 1982, with the VFA featuring the likes of Fred Cook, Phil Cleary, Bill Swan and was still considered by most people in the football community as being the no.2 football competition to the VFL. Yet the VAFA defeated the VFA 23.12 to 19.17.

I'm biased but the 2010 GF when Beauy came back fom 44 points down at quarter time to defeat Caulfied by a point in an epic finish, sticks in the memory. Big crowd, warm day and an amazing atmosphere.

I agree this was an absolute ripper of a game and a good enough crowd to create a great atmosphere. The last quarter was similar to the AFL version of the same year (except that was tied). The bounce of the ball can make the difference.

However 44 points down kicking into a breeze. It was 19 points at half time, after both sides had use of the wind. Still it was a hell of a win by the Sharks.

Biased view here too, but SKOB vs OM's GF in 2015. SKOB from memory were 44-45 points down halfway through the 3rd and staring down the biggest choke in VAFA history bar none after being 19-0 to that point of the season. Hit the lead with about 3-4 minutes to go and hung on to finally break back into A-Grade. From atmosphere point of view I haven't seen another VAFA game compare. Decent run since then also...
