Best Value Memberships

Having just forked out $382 to watch Adelaide this season, I'm interested to know what other clubs offer in the way of membership packages.

My package:

"Essential Crows", Aami stadium membership - $290

• Access to 11 home games
• Closer view of the Cheerleaders

Adelaide Football Club Gold Membership - $92

• Gold member Pin
• Scarf
• Ambassador Card
• Priority ticketing for Showdowns and Grand Final (should we be there)

I feel this is excessive but I'm interested if this is the norm for all clubs.

My Eagles Captain's Club memberships are around $450 if memory serves me correctly.

11 games, premium seating and access to a private bar so I can sip my chardonnay unmolested by the hoi polloi.

Oh yeah and free HJs vouchers (franchise culture)

I have a Geelong 17 membership plus seats at both Skilled Stadium and Telstra Dome.

My membership ticket cost $263 (includes entry to all home games and our 6 away games in Melbourne)

Skilled Stadium seats (for 8 games) cost $88

Telstra Dome seats (2 games) and access to reserved area at MCG for home game cost $40

Plus we get a choice of a hat, tin playing cards or a car flag as our additional item.

In total my membership and seats came to a total of $391

Skilled Stadium seats (for 8 games) cost $88

Plus we get a choice of a hat, tin playing cards or a car flag as our additional item.

In total my membership and seats came to a total of $391

Does it all get shipped to your house in an official Cats 07 handbag?

i just get a concession 18 game season ticket for $135 (basically free general admission), given that we play 15 games at the 'g and 3 at the dome its good value and i only have to pay about $13 to reserve a seat for ANZAC Day....every other game its just walk up and get a decent seat, except maybe 1 or 2 dome games where I might have to reserve as well

also get priority to finals tickets excluding GF

AFL memebership definately best value. Especially considering i can be a club memeber for no more, in which my club (Essendon) or whatever club u go for gets a cut of your money you pay for your membership. 40 games a year and finals tickets as well as a guaranteed grand final ticket. All this for $156-$300 a season for concession and about $250-400 for full adult membership. Prices depending on gold or silver membership.

Are they like carlton brown paper bags ? Stuffed with cash ?

Nope. The collingwood ones are much smaller and thicker. You see, most of them have very small heads (hence the size), and their rotten teeth give a slightly acidic quality to their breath (hence the thinkness). They do not come complete with eye holes like most bags intended for use on heads, and this should be obvious by the tokens of wisdom heard from them when they pass comment about something they "saw" in relation to football.
