I thought it would be appropriate to let regular contributors know about The Dutchman's father’s situation. Dutchy told, in one of the Essendon posts, that his Dad had had a massive heart attack and was presently in the ICU. He went on to say he is not expected to make it.

So I have posted this on the main board, in case some of the regulars miss it on the Bomber Board. Westy, Sandie and myself have posted messages of support and a wish for a quick recovery and I thought other regular would like to take the opportunity to do the same.

Good result folks - Dad has made a bit of a minor miracle of a recovery - after being on full life support for days last weekend... he's now in a private room recovering - still very weak but looking like making pretty close to a full recovery - fingers x'd as its early days though.

Thanks again from my family for your kind thoughts and words - it really meant a great deal.

Incidently, Walshy I hope you can get to write something similar soon about your Granddad.
