I dont even know what Sam Darcy is like in 5 years. He already seems basically impossible to stop. Early, but honestly, how many better marks have their been given the way the games played now?

Treacy and Thriller dead heat for 2nd and I think anyone trying to say one is currently definitively better than the other is stirring the pot.

Henry and Cadman quality talls but you need to be the number 1 banana to be in this convo and not sure either ever will be.

Think Cadman can be, Henry is a 2nd/3rd (bloody good one)

That kick inside 50 then on his non preferred by Darcy is why the “thilthorpe has the best field kicking” argument was silly.

Rough timing for an ACL for Darcy (and the Dogs seeing JUH has gone AWOL), but at least its at a point in his career where being locked in the gym for 6 months isn't a total waste.

Footy is a cruel sport. Us Blues fans were deprived of Charlie Curnow for 2 and a half years right as he was coming into his prime much like Darcy this year.

Hopefully he comes back bigger and better like Charlie did and can have a long successful career without any other major set backs.

I like the freo double threat of Amiss and Treacy, will be good to watch in the coming years. That being said For sure Darcy is the most unique proposition and has a great chance of becoming a great but all it takes is one injury and the bigger you are, the harder you fall……

This is why these threads are kind of pointless. I really hope for good news for Darcy but it didn’t look great 😔

Just to add another kid from my own club doing well. Not at the top of the list but doing really well for a younger and smaller tall

Logan Morris 11 goals from 6 games

Jed Walter (19yo) - 9 goals, 5 games
Seems to be really finding his feet at the AFL level now and has kicked several bags in his short career already. Certainly not an easy thing to do for a 19 year old that's played under 20 AFL games. Currently on track for 35-40 goals this year and that's right up there with any of the best key forwards we've seen in their second AFL season. No doubt Ben King's Coleman leading form is helping with match ups, but it's still very impressive from Walter in his second year.

If the State of Origin rumours are true, it should be good fun to watch Walter, Hipwood and Chol combine in the Queensland forward line next year.

Very keen to see Thilthorpe against Weitering this week if he gets up. Probably the best physical match up for him in the game and both in good form.
Hopefully Thilthorpe is ok with injured finger.

You’ve brought this up before and it’s absolute rubbish.

A majority of fans weren’t against it, and even if they were most fans don’t watch draft prospects so it’s irrelevant.

Nobody wanted a change to recruitment because we drafted Thilthorpe, it was because we had draft failures from previous years.

You were one of those who campaigned hard for Logan McDonald and weren't sold on RT.
