Voss is unreal.
The others are good but Voss has aggression and shifts in and around the ball.

Is he really 195cm?
He plays smaller than that.
Yeah Voss isn’t much of a pack mark or high flyer and more of a lead up, but also run through you. Treacy the same except he’s probably better aerially and worse at ground level.

I mean Buddy kicked 73 goals at 20 years old and 113 at 21.

Thilthorpe has kicked 55 at 23

Hawkins kicked 62 at 24.

Cameron kicked 62 at 20 and then 63 at 22.

They’re good but come on it’s not like they are unprecedented.
Rough kicked 75 in his 4th year as well.

There is nothing even remotely special about what the current guys are doing.

Treacy is arguably our most important player and easily our best forward. He plays higher up the ground like a true CHF because his marking and field kicking are elite. When the team needs someone to put them on their shoulders, he's your most likely guy.

Morris playing as the #1 tall and set to kick 50+ as an undersized KPF as a 20 year old isn't special?

Okay.

Sam Darcy has a lot of development left in him. Missed an opportunity to stake his claim yesterday, but he'll be giving oppo coaches more nightmares than any other player for years.
Darcy was beaten yesterday but still managed to haul in 5 contested marks. For comparison, the only guys who have done that in 2025 are Darcy (4), Gawn (2), Thilthorpe (2), Taylor (1), Cadman (1), Treacy (1), Cameron (1) & Weitering (1).

He's quality but he should stop taking dives from minimal contact off the ball.
Agree, but that's really on the umps for rewarding him. They then didn't play an obvious in the back on Voss because he didn't milk it, which means, on the evidence, he's silly not to. You're already seeing the effect with all the head-throws and dropping low i50. AFL need to be careful, it's a blight on the game. For the record though, Morris is a gun.

Patrick Voss has put together a hugely impressive second season.
He plays a bit like Jonathan Brown but more agile.
He'd be in the conversation for most improved key forward. A bit early on the Brown-dog comparison, but very happy with how he (and Freo's other tall forwards) are tracking.

He's more Leigh Brown than Jonno at the moment.

Not that's a bad thing. Leigh Brown was an absolute battering ram for the Pies in their flag year. Underrated player. Wouldn't want to stand in his way when he had a head full of steam.

100% agree that he's a gun

Vossy throwing out don't argues on 195cm plus key backs, running into open goals, and then hitting top speed in the goal celebration is the most beautiful sight in footy.

Georgiades has the best leading game of any other KF this year.
Most marks inside 50 if I’m not mistaken.
Doesn’t participate as much up the ground though. Noticed Thilthorpe in the final, even though he was disappointing, took a few good defensive marks up the ground.
