Rural Vic boy, you say?
Different player and completely different situation, but I'm still a bit jelly watching how well Stengle goes. šŸ™ƒ

Danger was always a star, and we knew for a long time he was headed home. But Tyson is an S.A. boy and we had him!

TBH, I'm just sick of Geelong competing every year. Just go away and be šŸ’© for a few years. Much respect, much irritation. šŸ˜†

I'm tired of these insecure Adelaide supporters telling me that my opinion is irrelevant just because I'm from Victoria. They assume that this automatically means I'm biased and know nothing about any interstate team. I watch every single game every week.

Maybe they are the biased ones who need to watch more footy outside of their little bubble! or does it only work one way? Talk about a victim complex. šŸ™„

And not just "oh no we finished thirteenth a few times", but genuinely priority pick level shit
Yes, I mean, "go away and be irrelevant for a few years" like you were in the late nineties to the mid two-thousands.

I'd like to not dread playing at your stadium for once. As Crows' supporters like to say; "death, taxes, and losing to Geelong in Geelong."

If you’re talking 2018, Pies beat us in the prelim that year.šŸ˜”

I wish. I still get the shakes from that lanky good for nothing yankee pr1ck playing at a Carey level that night.

He won't, because he won't move clubs. Players who move clubs (or threaten to move clubs) are the ones who get the most money, for obvious reasons.
Said with such certainty.

He probably won't... as he doesn't need it, I doubt it's because he's not willing to move.

Just as an example - the $1m mark, W Carey. He didn't have to move, he just played so well that his club couldn't afford to lose him and as such, paid him what he was worth.

IMO the doggies will do well to avoid this scenario.

What has happened to Logan McDonald?
He's a crab.

Players have three prices - the price you pay to keep them, the price they are worth on the open market, and the price they command to extract them from their current team (or when you're scared they'll leave). That's why Tom Lynch has the most expensive contract in the AFL, and expansion club boys (plus Ben McKay) are overpaid. It's like our regular jobs - if you want the best pay, you have to move employers.

Cadman will be a better forward than Thilthorpe once developed
That is your opinion. It's also a rebuttal to an argument I never made. A strawman, if you will.

On a sidenote, you would want to hope Cadman doesn’t do a Cameron when the 🐈 comes knocking. Hopefully he doesn't like farms! 😬

Perhaps the GWS hierarchy can lay it on thick just how much hard work they are. šŸ˜‰

The old ā€˜I’ve got nothing so raise the specter of him being poached’ gambit …. Bravo

That's rich coming from someone who refuted an argument I never even made.

Criticise me for my choice of banter subject matter, I'm cool with that. šŸ˜†

Hey, at least I don't use logical fallacies when trying make an actual point. šŸ˜‰

Come on, mate you’re clearly trying to say Cadman is not much chop despite him comparing very well with Thilthorpe as a goal kicker

Dude, please! šŸ™„

I responded to someone else who said it. I simply leveraged off the sentiment to make the point that Geelong will come after him, with the express intent of implying that if his talents are undersold, you might not get the same amount of draft picks as you did for Cameron.

Full disclosure; I have barely even seen Cadman, so I do not actually know how well he's going. My post was tongue-in-cheek, and perhaps laced with a little bit of projection regarding Tyson Stengle and how miffed I am that he's doing so well since going to the Cats.

You are the one that misread what I said and made a serious rebuttal, except it was refuting something I never even said. So, come on yourself, mate! Have a laugh and don't take everything so seriously! šŸ˜„
