fractional is ok?

9/10

means you put on 9 to win $19 back..

3/21 is a 7 shot

1/101 - 101 shot

or am i wrong?

It's essentially dividing.

Say the odds were 5/2. Thats 2.5

10/9 is 1.10

etc

Just gets confusing when they go with the odd numbers (odd as in weird) like 17/7, and you can't really recognise what the **** is going on.

5/2 is $3.50... you need to take into account that you get back $5 for every $2 you invest plus your stake

so if you chuck on $10 at 5/2 you would get back $25 plus your $10 stake = $35

pretty sure that's how it works anyway

so $101 is 100-1 etc etc
