they're dull in that they copy pinny lines but won't lay a bet

doesn't help them that their site is probably the worst one to use

So... with bonus bet/cash back promos ending in June-ish this year, BetEasy are now getting rid of their Rewards program? Are they trying to suicide?
. I've read about that and don't quite understand it. The articles i read seem to say that all bonus bets are gone for everything ie sign up and as promos like running 2nd/3rd or if you go up by x amount of points and lose.

But then i read this from the government point 4 only covers sign up bonuses being used as an incentive. Nothing about promo's for members. The last sentence also implies that bonus bets will continue to be a thing given that the turnover requirements from winnings will be abolished.

But is there something I'm missing because everything i read seems to suggest that bonus bets and inducements of any kind are gone sometime in the next year or so.

Anyone know if bet365 and/or Sportsbet r running the 24 points up get paid out on the afl this season??

Sportsbet had a similar one for the NRL last year but at 10/12 points. This year they're doing 6 points up at half time and you're payed out as a winner.

Bet365 had 12 points in the NRL last year, this year it's 14 points.

So based on that, SB might be a bit different but i'd guess bet365 will be very similar.

Saw a decent promo on Ladbrokes - double winnings up to $100 if your team wins by 24 or more points (Thu and Fri games). Pretty good spot for the season opener (Rich line is -36.5). Would need to be a large bet to claim the full $100 if they did win by 24+ though. NRL same promo but 12 points.

If you're matched betting, not a bad one to combine with Bluebet's lose by 18 points or less stake back as a BB.

There's a few others but not really worth going over. The Neds legends boost is alright though and Unibet will probably have a decent price boost on one of the matches.

Very disappointed with bet365's offering. There's tighter restrictions on it this year too in that you can't edit the bet if you want to up your stake.

Everyone else seems to have come to the party with something half decent though.

My sister’s been getting a few messages from Da. May as well take up the offer and lay it off on the exchange.

Sounds like Da is trying to lay it off on the exchange

Been reading this forum for a while, but never made an account. But saw the promos for round 1 and surely people are taking advantage of the offers. I will be doing this on every game this weekend and hopefully 1 gets up.

Taking advantage of Beteasy's and Sportsbets offer.

Tonights game - 100 on Richmond on beteasy = 113 + (Beteasy promo -double winnings on first 50 staked = 50x1.13-50 =6.5) +6.5 = 119.5. Chuck 19.5 on Calton on Sportsbet at 6. If Richmond win you break even. If Calton win you lose $2.00. BUT if Calton go up by 12 at end of 1st/2nd/3rd and then lose, you get paid out on Sportsbet and also Beteasy. Won't happen in this game - but there are definitely games this round where it is likely to happen. There is a sweet spot for each game where you are risking nothing but can win decent.

Just a tip, don’t do bets of stuff like $19.5. Round to the nearest $5 ie $20 to help avoid scrutiny from the agencies.

But you’re right with your thinking. Beteasy can ensure a nice profit on any match. The early payouts are where the big potential wins are though.

Yeah, I always round mine up. But if you look at Pies vs Geelong. $200 on Pies @ 1.65 = 330 + (32.5) = 362.5. 165 on Geelong on Sportsbet at 2.3 = 379.5. Make 0 loss, 17.5 or 377 lol

Sportsbet promo is up by 12 at any break and you’re payed out as a winner. Without looking into it at all, that sounds like a good one.
I have gone and had a look at round 1 over the last 3 years and the numbers suggest this offer isn't as good as it appears.

In 27 matches the favourite has lead by 12+ at the break 16 times and failed to win 3 of those:
2017: St Kilda ($1.62) lead Melbourne ($2.42) 38-15 at 1/4, went on to lose by 30pts. Profit $155
2017: GWS ($1.66) lead Adelaide ($2.35) 29-15 at 1/4, went on to lose by 56pts. Profit $165
2016: GWS ($1.57) lead Melbourne ($2.55) 62-41 at 3/4, went on to lose by 2pts. Profit $142.50

In 27 matches the underdog has lead by 12+ at the break 10 times and failed to win 2 of these:
2018: Adelaide ($2.00) lead Essendon ($1.85) 78-58 at 3/4, went on to lose by 12pts. Profit $250
2016: Adelaide ($3.01) lead Nth Melbourne ($1.44) 60-42 at 1/2, went on to lose by 10pts. Profit $502.5

So in summary the offer has only been of benefit 5 out of 27 times.

But your returns are MASSIVELY better than 5-1 when it does happen - so its actually a great promo arb.

Cheers for the research. If it comes off 1-2 times each round I’m pretty happy with it though.

I had a look early in the week and there are also some cash out opportunities, where side up by 12pts loses the lead briefly but still goes on to win. With the early payout last year on SB if you had an early payout, and the other team cut the margin you could often cash out for a tidy profit regardless of the final result. You don’t end up with the full payout for both but still handy.

Also, and you probably would’ve guessed this, but sides who lead by 12+ at quarter time are less likely to go on to win than 12+ at half or 3/4 time. So if you want to narrow your bets you could go after sides who start well
