Will continue to operate as two seperate brands, owned by the same parent company until at least 2020/21. Might not be a bad strategy when competing with Sportsbet and BetEasy.
Hopefully Lads learns something from them!

I would love to know exactly how this deal went down. The guy who started Ned’s used to make pornos and then became the boss of Ladbrokes in Australia. He then left Ladbrokes to start Ned’s and a year later has sold it to them and will go back to his old employer as a consultant. Has he made a profit? Or did Ladbrokes buy an over capitalised business and as part of the deal he asked for a job. He’s also pretty big on cryptocurrency, you wonder if he’s made some bad business decisions over the last 12 months.

i find lads not too bad, whereas neds are basically a nightmare from general rumblings around.

Promo banned by Neds this morning even though I barely use them, and they don’t have stuff all promos anyway. I’m completely banned from Ladbrokes, so maybe this is somehow connected with the takeover?
Side note, I haven’t had a winning bet with them since Cox Plate day, and really only a few $5 quaddies and such.

Just got the email from Ubet stating they are changing their name to TAB. Doesnt say a merger just simply changing their name to TAB and renaming the app and website etc. I understand they are now owned by the one group but are they seriously going to have 2 bookies both being called TAB?
Yeah me too. First promo ban ever for me. Went through betting history, many losing bets over the next month, most without the use of their promos. Weird

Standard 20 to 50 dollar bets. Once rage bet an odds on shot boosted in the greys 4X the normal bet size. It won so maybe that triggered something

It is so average that they can let the worst clients bet whatever they like (and indeed encourage them to do so), but get rid of the winners!
Which brings me to this, do the odds it is a blatant lie. At 1.87 which is what all of these would have been, more or less it wins $55,925 not to shabby but not half a mill. Also if I placed this bet it would have limited me to a $25 win, so I doubt that they would take on this liability for an event that is quite possible given a high scoring and fast paced game.

Could have been boosted as I think SB do that. Also, a small difference in price on each makes a big difference on a multi.

Same game multis odds don’t multiply simply by the odds of each leg as a single as they are related to each other. If you play around with the right combos you can generally get an 8 leg all overs or all unders bet on player props at $2501 odds and hope for overtime or an early blowout.

I thought sportsbet capped single bet wins at 500k? Only slightly over but still...

I’m split over 3
365 - generally the best imo. Books are usually the best
TAB - if even odds would rather lose it to the tab than a corp
Sportsbet - futures and the odd power play
Haven’t mastered the fair but slowly figuring it out. Go there often to check what the market is doing and the Books are incredible in comparison to corps so want to get involved sooner rather than later
