I cbf reading all that, but I'm sure common sense can prevail. Delistings on just UF should be counting. If it improves my picks though maybe we should enforce this hehe

yes, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. I'm sure there is a rule somewhere that says all players must remain active at all times in both BF and UF but this is obviously not enforced. Sorry, didn't mean to boldface this but I'm out without glasses

Right, like it's hard enough coming into a keeper league when there's teams that have been in from the start crafting super teams. I'm very aware of how hard it is to overturn these teams given im one of them in the other league. The last thing a coach coming in with a crummy or middling list needs is to be stripped of picks on a technicality. It's not like there's some clear announcement somewhere in the thread title about doing delistings on both UF & BF. (I hope )

Our league rules have always been you need to post your delistings in the thread ahead of the deadline. I’m not in the mindset to re-do the draft order again so a couple coaches can get an extra pick in the 40s or 50s but if it’s worth hours of their time they can work it out and post what should be the corrected final draft order and then I can look to adjust it before the draft starts.

Im sry but i do the lists in the other league dont make out this is some huge deal thatll take 6 hrs to fix, it takes 5 minutes to amend 3 picks/players & FTR it isnt just about me its about Bowski and ND too. You strip coaches of picks because they didnt know a rule?

No, it ****ing doesn't. Because there's no telling if you've got P54, P58 or something else entirely coming your way. If you reckon it takes 5 minutes, then work it out. You've really crossed a line with me, all but accusing me of doing it on purpose in your PM to try to give myself an unfair advantage. I'm not wasting anymore of my time on what pick you should get for Paton. YOU work it out and post it and everyone else can confirm it's correct. ND's pick is easy, he should have P44 if the league allows it to happen. It's not even "my call", it's the whole league that operates on the same set of rules. All it'll take once ND get's 44 and you get whichever pick is somenoe after that complaining that now we've broken the rules to give you the unfair advantage and they're negatively impacted etc.. etc..

I apologised to u via pm once already, i apologised via Whatapp and ill do so again here, i am sorry for my outburst and for getting aggro at you. Now ive calmed down, i dont want this league to die because of this and if we have mass ppl quit the league is dead. Now ive offered u 3 apologies, 1 via pm, 1 via whatsapp, 1 here. Pls PM be the admin login i will redo the lists, i am obv very familiar with it, might take an hr or two but so be it. Or pm it to wgs and get him to fix it whatever works. It is in the best interest of the league that we all play nice here lest the league die. Pls just accept my apology and well get on with business, i got way too mad, you got mad, we dont need to stay mad though.

Look it has been a rule, it has been how we do things. We perhaps could have made it clear beforehand to rocky that we just used the UF site.

But to be fair to Rockford you fellas should have made the request in one post and give him the right of reply before taking it further. There were a few posts and PMs thrown at him that could have come across badly after he just spent all night doing the lists. Everyone needs to take a deep breath I think and trade me those picks.

Absolutely, i have acknowledged that and apologised and offered to fix it. 3 posts and an angry pm was obv over the top, no doubt.

ye look i had just woken up and saw the posts about putting players back onto ppls lists and i was furious because id never do that in the other league, but obv it takes many hours to do lists and i understand he put in tons of work and while i disagree with what he did, i understand that to come on after u spent all night doing lists and see all these angry posts would rly piss me off as well. So i get why hes pissed. i obv shouldve cooled down and just asked nicely, i screwed up and didnt think before i spoke and im sorry about that. I dont want the league to end just coz i got mad and then ND got mad. Anyways, hopefully hell cool down and except my apologies and well go from there, i dont rly like to hold grudges and said a few things in the heat of the moment i shouldnt have, my bad.

i think were ok, ive talked to Rockford, ive apologised & acknowledged i greatly overreacted, told him dw bout my list as i miscalculated list spots anyways, i dont think Bowski really cared and so he just needs to fix up ND pick in the 40s and he said thats not a big deal so i think we should be ok...

I'm fine to keep Butts (phrasing), I'll just ditch him when some psp pickup no one has ever heard of goes bang in round 0.

5. No trades will be permitted following the conclusion of Round 16 for teams involved in the BigFooty Dynasty finals. Following the conclusion of BigFooty Dynasty finals, all teams will again be allowed to trade. During the off-season, teams may delist players and trade draft picks and players after submitting their lists with two available spots.

Are there any other rules except for the ones on Page 1 that I should be aware of? Obviously I am not going to wade through 271 pages of that thread.

I’m not concerned about gems there. Chances are I’d pick up someone like Josh Schache

Thanks for your reply WGS. I see the sentence in this thread and it does make it a bit clearer, although once again, it does not specify that delistings made in our game platform (UF) will be ruled invalid. What happened this year seems most unfair to the 4 coaches affected. I do know the work involved in running keeper category leagues as I ran 2 of them myself in UF. ( Neither survived the UF sellout to AFL Fantasy unfortunately as not enough coaches wanted to put in $10.)

Rockford said to me via PM that figuring out ND pick was easy as it was the one he traded for and should take 5 minutes, thus inferring that the timely part was figuring out mine and bowski's picks. I told him dw about it, Bowski doesnt care and once i realised it was pick 60 i was missing out on rather than a pick in the 40s i said just fix up Northern Dogs pick and dw about my pick. He hasnt responded but i assume given he said it was an easy fix for ND that hes gonna fix his pick as he's the one most affected by this. I assume this is the case given this is the fix to the situation and he just needs to do that and we can all forget about the situation. I dont think there will be any confusion about the rules next year, regardless of whether they are actually stated somewhere.
