I had thought that too. Same goes for PRC and BFPL. Doesn't seem fair tbh.

I floated the idea in the past years, but I think a mid-week draft (a week after the players are picked in MSD) would actually serve a better idea than everyone relying on waivers with this sort of thing that can happen. The double-dipping on teams being able to have a go at two players doesn't seem fair for the competition.

We can 100% raise this post season and you can even champion it. Would be easy to do in this thread with a 12 hours timer or something. Those blokes don’t get played for a week very best case scenario anyway so no big deal if it takes a week or two to carry out this very small draft.

However it is extra work for players that are very likely not to make it. There isn’t much value in the MSD and finding a gun like Newcombe is rare.

It's better to continue the discussion now and have an action on it for next season onwards rather than delaying the inevitable conversation (or forgetting the priorities of it existing) when we're back here in 12 months time saying the same thing.

Post season you’ll generally get more engagement but if you are confident you can get the majority keen and everyone aware now please do it.

Just note there is no keeper side restrictions in place other then waivers to stop people signing these people so would need a rule in place OR everyone pays $20 a season for
Ultimate access which allows a draft.

The odds of having all 14 coaches in the same place, in the same week are slim to none lol.

I personally think since 1 in 100 of these guys end up relevant, the draft order should be premiers 1st, runner up 2nd etc. Some mini reward for doing well, and not a big disadvantage to the building teams as most of these guys will be crap.

Personally if there was a MSD with bottom pick 1 I'd have no FA all season. Make the draft relevant

I think the waiver works well it’s just this year the Thursday night game screwed us a bit. Also nobody got access in either league to more than 1 MSD player.

Doesn't have to be in one night. It could be slow online over 3-4 days if we're all just drafting one player each. We get through more than that in preseason (some days).

Don’t worry flaps i pressed reset on my team in the PRC. A quick 2 years later and I’m averaging 1 win a season.
