Re: BFFFL #1 - Part 3
Im pretty sure this fantasy league was the only 1 i cared about this year, and it doesnt help when your best player does his Knee week 1 and ur left with a sub par QB no RB's and having to rely on Santana Moss and Steve Smith to win me games. I put the best team out there everyweek so dont tell me i didnt try this season, i could of tanked late in the season and score in the 20's to get the number 1 pick but i didnt.
The draft seldom determines how well or badly one's fantasy team performs. A lot of transactions occur thru the year and general roster management that separates top fantasy owners like JD from the riff-raff like me. Just comes down to if someone spends that little bit of time per week reading up on player news in the NFL so as to jump on those booming players in waivers/FA. Devotes some time logging in to their league page or BF to talk trades or keep abreast of player news etc.
As for Dynasty....you showed passion for it when I first asked for people interested in it. And knowing it was gonna be a hefty first year 34 man draft requiring a lot of time from everyone first up to just get thru it, you werent showing the committment needed. Especially for a dynasty league which hinges so much on everyone being committed and for the long-haul otherwise the league collapses more than any other kind of fantasy league type. So when I had to move you to Dynasty Gamma, in order for Alpha to actually be able to finish a draft, you seemed to lose all interest and even there werent able or interested in doing what had to be done by everyone else (not just you) to get the draft completed.
That's the disappointing thing about it. Not just you, but anyone in Gamma who showed so much interest then balked and fobbed it off. I dont have a grudge against you or anything. You should know that. Just when comps are being run, everyone's gotta pull together otherwise they collapse. And everyone has things in real life going on that they sacrifice.
