Re: BigFooty Fantasy Football League

but if he does...
he had 100 hours and can't complain, in the end there is likely to be a split on this issue, as the commish you have to make some tougn decisions, i feel for mizza that he hasnt been able to draft for whatever reason but i cant let him be on the clock forever, at some point i was going to have to do what i did, i mean when is the right time? 4 days? 5 days? a fortnight? thats the thing i dont think there is a set time, i have decided it is in the best interest of a majority of the league to get it back moving again

Re: BigFooty Fantasy Football League

because I feel I have greater needs at other positions. leave it at that, haha
hmmm, positions you probably dont need, what would those be, i am guessing maybe you are talking about a WR as you have 3 alright ones or an RB

Wish Sven would do my review so I could laugh in discust...

only because he may hold different views on the players I have... and no way is speeds team better than mine (which he was already claimed)

better QB (and QBs) - check
full time starting RBs - check
explosive & proven WRs - check
solid TE - check

I find it hard to see how.

victory will be sweet - I like it that way, (ala Indianapolis) it wouldnt be a sweet if people agreed with me.

lol, good on ya

i'l do my own little checklist

your team

inconsistent and iffy QBs - check
old RBs with wear and tear, two on new teams and one about to lose the starting job - check
one proven WR - check
one who will eventually get angry and let his mouth run as his offence spreads the ball out too much and doesnt look for him every single time - check
one rookie who is not certain to dominate year 1 - check

i'd take Sjax, Dwill and BJax over TJ, Dunn and JLew anyday

Re: BigFooty Fantasy Football League

Just some comments from the pages I've caught up on today...

1. Thanks for the mediation posts, Danielz. You did a brilliant unbiased review of the comparitive differences between Dspeed and myself, IMO. Ie, I'm not TOO FAR away from the on-paper strength of Dspeed.

2. Sven, thanks for the review and comments! I think a C (with the unknown Jarrett/Bowe) was a fair grade. Tho I still think Jones and Foster are good 3rd stringers to call on!

3. Dspeed, you did the right thing moving the drafting along. Mizza can't be upset to have the legendary Sven make picks for him. Maybe I might disappear for a week purely to have Sven make the picks for me lol.

4. I just hope Mizza is actually well. Didn't have some kind of accident or family tragedy etc. However, I also fear Mizza MAY have abandoned our league in preference for another online one?? Who knows. If he did, oh well. There are some great guys like Sven, wce_all_da_way, Mdunn, etc who should all hopefully get expansion slots. I don't care if we have a 20 team league. There's always a way to tweak the squad list to embrace more people, and having to make selections from the bottom of the talent bucket isn't anything horrid to avoid, I like that idea of having to plum the depths too.

haha... sounds like a man living in fear.

I'll take all those comments the same way as your DeAngelo love fantasy... with a grain of salt. You seem to plan out how players are going to act, play, the teams strategy... etc... without any real substance, haha.

If my two full time backs fall to wear and tear, my iffy QBs fail and/or get suspended, my loud mouth WR spits the dummy, and my young WR is a bust or just doesnt perform in year 1 I will bow my head. haha

As should you if your iffy QB with no talent around him, split carry RBs who will be lucky to break 50 yards a week, and D-grade backup options dont pan out. haha. Hope I get you on one of the weeks your QB - scrath that, he will be crap anyway.... WR, or RB is on a bye because you have nothing behind it. haha

I can cover Jackson, Holt and Johnsons scores anyway, because they are the only three who will give you consistant FF points.

expansion teams cant happen in a keeper league as i have said, and 16 is the max i am willing to participate in

you actully face me in week 1 and 11 from memory, so you'll just have to take me on at full strength, and if you cant beat me in week 1 where my matchups are bad you won't ever beat me, lol, cj faces the B-more D, holt and Sjax face the panthers D and young takes on Jacksonville, yet i'll still win, will set up the season nicely!

because it is a keeper league! seasonal leagues yes, but how can new teams be added to a keeper league without them being behind the eightball from day dot

I think you miss the point dspeed.

It is called 'fantasy football' because you make up teams with players from different teams... creating a 'fantasy' team of players...

The idea isnt to make up 'fantasy' stories about how your players will be better than that have ever shown to be or in Youngs case, will be... haha

I'm sorry if we didnt tell you this earlier ;)

Re: BigFooty Fantasy Football League

not enough starters to make it worthwhile.

not everyone would have a backup QB for a starters
exactly, aswell as Ds and Ks, was the point i was trying to make to gg earlier about not being able to have more then 16 teams

Go with an expansion draft haha

I agree that 16 is a nice number to cap it, but you could expand from a lower number... of course its not a lower number, so Ill sit in reserve (probably a long way back too... still in 'blow-in' territory

Very intrigued to find out who this player danielz23 is talking about. I think I have one myself, just wonder if it is the same player.

lol, and yet all your analysis of your team is perfect and spot on, no fantasy talk whatsoever, interesting that
