Sorry for getting a bit excited BlueJet. When you have been through the hard times and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel you just cant help but be up and about.

When you bring in quality like
Fevola
Lynch
A Houli
M Houli
Thornton
Peters
Banner
Walsh
Broadbent
And local superstar Matty Notman

My mail is there's more coming to Panther Park - stay tuned for Paddy's breaking news.

I feel a dynasty coming on.

Paddy D
I've no problem with you or anyone else being excited over your recruits.
It's exciting times for all involved down there and I wish you well (except when playing North City) but perhaps ease up on clipping other clubs.
So far you've delivered backhanders to most of the Eastern teams which isn't entirely necessary.
From the looks of things you're in for a big year, enjoy it. [emoji106]

Yes the Bloods signings have been very underwhelming, especially considering what its little brother is doing. A few club hopping mercenaries and a bloke who hasnt had a kick in 6 years. Is there an early market for the spoon..
Tbh I don't mind Meltons recruits, Grigg, Hucky and Archard are all good footballers, the main concern will be getting their buy in and commiting for a number of years.
3x talented young kpp isn't too bad, it may not be Fev but it's certainly something to build on.

There's a right way to go about winning flags and having a good culture and there's a shit way.. south =shit
Clubs buy premierships in every league, but if they do win one, history will show they won a premiership, it won't say how they won it. A win is a win and a flag is a flag. Sooner or later everyone spends up big.

They are all young which could be good if they buy into the club and spend 3+ years there but based on history they all move clubs every year, even still a couple of fringe EDFL players and a bloke from Hoppers is hardly going to make them improve when all other clubs around them are doing more.

Morning All, Paddy's back after a big night of training at Panther Park.

57 blokes turned up. Yep 57. The club was a buzz.

Get amongst it lads.

The coaches posted this on twitter this morning. Brilliant.

The alternative is to sit on the bottom of the ladder and do nothing. A club in South position had to do something and I wish them all the luck in achieving success. At the very worst they will breath some life back into the club, the juniors will be up and about, fans will come back, bar sales will be up, social functions will be well attended and can start to develop a culture of a successful club again. If parents have a choice to send there kids to Bloods, Centrals or South, South all of a sudden become the more desirable option. The flow on effects will be huge.

Yeah maybe. Didn't South organise a meet the coach (fev) day/night for the under 16's and 18's, and all the kids and parents rocked up all excited, and fev was no where to be seen, and no one could get in contact with him. That is what I heard may not be true though. Something like that would never happen at such a great club.
The flogs here again ☝

Alabama I've got a suggestion for you. Sack whoever is giving you your mail and start following Paddy's mail cos that is a load of rubbish.

Fev is a professional, turns up to every engagement. Absolute lies and Crap. The bloke is putting the BFL on the map, and its real so get used to it.

Anyway Alabama, declare your hand? Who do you follow?

Ok, so not true. That is all I was after, my mail must be way off. They will get a kick in the behind.

I have been around, was South man briefly some time ago, but that did not last overly long. Watched a lot of Darley and Marsh in recent years. Probably more Darley I would say than anyone. But could switch to Panthers if it looks like producing a flag. I have a reserved seat on the wing apparently.

But all in all go Tigers

Good to hear Alabama. We will have you in the full Panther gear in no time. And yes, your reserved seat awaits.

Paddy's Friday Pearls

A bit of goss, the Panthers just missed out on securing Andrejs Everitt - he decided to go back to his home club on the Mornington Pen. The mail is we were mighty close. Damn.

But watch this space, some big movements next week.

This one's more an oyster than a pearl Paddy. I hope everybody isn't going to start posting who they nearly got.

Which of Fevs old teammates can he bring to Rec Reserve?? Andrew Walker would be a huge get and is in a mentoring role with Carlton so should have free time to play on Saturdays.. South havent signed a ruckmen and will need someone to get the ball to Lynch and Broadbent, perhaps Cameron Wood or Robbie Warnock.. Wheres Sentanta at he has been a bit of a journeyman since leaving AFL?

Don't need a ruckman. Their ruckman played interleague this year and irc may have got best on ground. & his still pretty young too. Pretty sure Cam wood signed with Avondale heights and Setanta retired this year after few seasons at Albury.

Boys, Interleague ruckman BIG BAD BENNY SORTINO is flyyying at the minute and so is young Searley from a knee reco.

But I've got bigger news for you lads...

I hear the coaches met with Big WILL MINSON earlier this week. Apparently there's a relationship with the coach Triplett dating back to Bulldog days... Hes going overseas but might be back in time to qualify for September action at Panther Park.

55 blokes on the park last night. The way we are going we will need 4 teams...

Stay Tuned

Paying the equivalent of 4 teams!

I'm on the wagon, Panthers 2017....can't be beat. Only an idiot would lose with this list.
