Brown, Lovig and Dahlenburg probably 3-pointers, unless they were top-5 in their club B&F last year, then they get one more point. That's how I see it.

Yeah correct. That’s exactly what I said. Sounds l
so you agree with me turbo as that’s what I’m trying to say as well. All 5.

There were rumours of concessions, I guess this confirms those rumours.Well all our questions have been answered. And the answers raise even more questions
Sebas have 50 points to play with according to the BFL website tonight, which is 2 more than was announced in Feb of this year. They are way below that level so not really an issue by itself, but when did they get the extra 2?
The individual allocations are as follows:
Austin - 3. WTF?????
Keeble - 4
Hausler - 4
Cassidy - 5
Also, Lovett is listed as 4 - he was 4 last year and Goodes is listed as 3. He was 5 last year.
So I have no idea

The only other explanation is that Sebas have fudged the numbers. A few CHFL clubs got caught out doing the same a few years back in a league wide audit. It was a bit of an honesty system in that league though because they don’t have full time admin to check them so unlikely the same has happened here
East have not named palmer or mcqueen. So 9-points there. Marsh are right on the limit! After looking at the teams I might change my view on North, can’t beat Sebas with that team!Brown got 4. Might have been leading goalkicker at Hepburn last year or would he get an extra for being ex Sebas? And if that’s the case why didn’t that apply to Cassidy?
Apparently a VFL player can’t be more than 5-points, a TAC cup player can’t be more than 4-points.Brown got 4. Might have been leading goalkicker at Hepburn last year or would he get an extra for being ex Sebas? And if that’s the case why didn’t that apply to Cassidy?

How are Darley only 34?First round teams are out, points are:
Sunbury 30
East 41
Ballarat 30
Redan 33
M-Sth 41
Melton 25
Marsh 43
Darley 34
Sebas 42
North 30
Looks like we were wrong on our interpretations of the points guidelines. Most players are lower than we assumed. Were there deals done here with AFL Goldfields?
South playing arch rival Melton tomorrow and their ‘coach’ is off to Bali. Haha
I know he is serving a two game suspension for sniping Brian Graham, but he could not give a stuff about the club. Not the type of person you would want leading your club that’s for sure. Wouldn’t see Trav Hodgson or Heath Scotland doing that.
Darley were 5 or 6 goals down at one stage with no one on the bench I think. Massive win.North started off the season nicely, Dunstan & Spiers both handy in their first games.
Sunbury beating Redan so comprehensively is a bit of a surprise.
The Grand Final rematch looks like it was an absolutely cracking contest.

Full credit to Melton. South get Scorcha to get on the phone and sign more blokes to rape your club haha.
I picked Sunbury but had no idea the margin would be so big, long year for Redan?
I’ve eased up on them. When they realise the blokes they have running the place are not actually improving the club but ruining it, then they might be able to move forward.Gee Slammer you love sinking the boot into Sth at every opportunity. I don’t follow this league but think you need to give them a break. Think I’ve stated this before but at least they are having a crack as the area off Mth South is difficult to attract kids I guess and 3 sides in Melton I’ve never agreed with.
Populations 2016 Census was Greater Melton 135,000. Bacchus Marsh 22,000. Ballarat 101,000 Sunbury 36,000.I’ve eased up on them. When they realise the blokes they have running the place are not actually improving the club but ruining it, then they might be able to move forward.
Not sure what the current population of Melton is but it would be substantially bigger than Bacchus marsh who currently have the two best clubs in the league, on and off the field. Melton can easily accommodate 3.

I sympathise with the true south people, who love and have kept it afloat through some dark years. Fevola and Triplett will most likely leave the place in ruins. There is no quick fix.I hear you both with these reports but Melton Sth is an older area whereas the others are developing areas with younger families and to a point maybe more affluent especially some parts of Bacchus Marsh and Sunbury. Would like to compare the average house med price in these suburbs.
Anyway my point was I don’t mind seeing Sth recruit if that’s how they can be more competitive in the immediate future. Surely recruiting Fev has bought along some interest and sponsors $$. Yes he might not be your perfect coach but his name alone attracts people in. At least they are trying something which I commend them for.
Your comment regarding people running the club I can’t comment on as don’t know the insides of Sth but once again I congratulate people who are involved at sporting clubs as it’s a damn hard job and often unrewarding unless you can snag a premiership.

I’d be much happier if I were a Bloods supporter, a team full of local kids and a club committed to a long term plan.
