A loss to Essendon in round 10 didnt stop Kerr from getting 27 disposals and kicking 3 goals but he went hammer and tong with Cousins for BOG. Cuz winning by just 5 votes. Both made major moves up the leaderboard, Cousins though holds the most interest. After a lacklustre start he has given Gardiner a huge start but with back to back BOG's he has surged up the leaderboard and in two weeks has moved from 9th and almost 500 votes from the lead to 4th and now just 294 votes from top spot.

Kerr though also makes a move and is up from 9th to 7th. Last year's runner up is perhaps not done with yet. The only other big vote getter was Wirrpunda who stayed firm in 3rd spot but closed the gap on the leaders considerably. Fletch also closed the gap on Gardiner who managed just 15 votes in the loss to Essendon.

From Rowan Jones down to Adam Hunter, nobody moved up or down a rung on the leaderboard. All the movement coming from the top 10. Next week is a home game against the Doggies and will hopefully be up in a couple of days.

Pity about his ankle probs during that game
No doubt about that. He was easily BOG at half time with 21 disposals and 3 goals but with just the 6 touches in the second half due to the ankle and Cousins' 4 quarter effort....he was beaten. But only just.

Anybody picking Cuz to overrun Fletch and Gardy? Back to back? I doubt it, Gardiner is playing too well.

Fletchers biggest problem last year was that he performed well at home but dissapeared when playing away

This year he's become really consistent and i expect him to overtake Gardiner as the season goes on

But will Cuz go by both or are you predicting a Fletcher victory?

As it stands, its a toss up between Fletch and Cuz

Only reason i would favour Cousins is because he's a natural vote getter

Not gonna give me prediction yet ;)

thats presuming that Gardy has either overperformed or what be able to keep his good form up for the entire 22 rounds.

IMO, I reckon Gardy will get up, but expect Cousins to put the pressure on him, whilst Fletcher, Wirrpunda and Kerr won't be too far behind. Judd will also get some good votes when he gets his mind of next season I feel.

Gardy was fantastic early in the season but as he's shouldering the whole ruck load week in week out, im not sure he'll be able to continue his stellar form all season

I have Fletcher as my smokey
